Adopt a dog or cat at a discount
The Nancy J. Brua Animal Care Center is in urgent need of adoptions, especially for dogs, to free up space at the shelter and is offering adoption discounts through end of the month.
Dog and cat adoptions are discounted by $25 through July 31. The center staff will continue to work with other area shelters and rescue groups to help make room as well, but summer is a busy time with many dogs coming in each week and many shelters are currently full.
If you’re thinking of adding a new furry family member, please stop by soon or take a look at the dogs we have featured on Petfinder to see if there’s a good match! Adoption fees include sterilization, the first set of vaccinations, a complete physical exam, City pet license, and a microchip implant.
The Nancy J. Brua Animal Care Center is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday. Stop by or give the shelter’s friendly staff a call at (520) 458-4151 to learn more.
