Through the end of the month dogs and cats are available for a $25 discount at the Nancy J. Brua Animal Care Center.
The shelter recently had to put adoptions on hold while staff ensured cases of parvo were contained.
Now adoptions are urgently needed. During the quarantine period, the shelter still received owner turn-ins but was unable to adopt out any of the animals in its care.
Through Sept. 30, dogs are available for $50 each and cats for $25, which includes spay/neuter, rabies shot, a microchip and microchip registration, fecal test, and a City license.
