Bat Migration Reinforces Need for Pet Vaccinations

The Cochise County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Department of Agriculture is advising of the annual Bat migration being upon us. As these migrations occur, some bats may become ill and fall to the ground (grounding) at which time people and/or animals can come into contact with them.

Please make sure that your animals are current on their rabies vaccinations for their safety and yours. SEACOM communications center at 803-3550 and a USDA agent will get in touch with you.

Stay healthy and safe out there!
